Travel was my #1 priority for the last 15 years, and because I worked for an airline, I was able to cover a lot of ground. I grew up writing in journals and Viva Cindy was born in 2006 to document my adventures and keep my family informed of my whereabouts.
Now, [semi] grounded in Atlanta, I am self employed with my first baby. How quickly my life has changed.
September 2011 I had my son and one week later we closed on our house. It's a "builder beige" house nestled in a historic neighborhood and needs some serious decorating/design help! All the ideas/inspiration I have bookmarked and added to my pinterest are about to be put into action (I hope!)
Follow along with me as I attempt all my DIY projects and conquer the biggest challenge ever. Motherhood.
I will do our best to meld my mothers' Hungarian traditions with that of my husbands' Mexican roots. Should be interesting!
If you like Mexican food as much as we do, you'll want to check out the Viva la Cocina tab up top, home to many authentic recipes.
In 2009, I created Zafiro, a well traveled jewelry company inspired by exotic destinations, and diverse cultures. On Viva Cindy I am able to share new designs and give updates on events. I also like to share my creative process and finished pieces. I currently sell my pieces at art shows, but will soon expand online and hopefully grow the company, eventually selling in boutiques around the world. Interested in carrying Zafiro? Contact me.
This blog documents my travel adventures, creative inspiration, decorating my home and family affairs.
Originally from Ohio, I now live in Atlanta with my husband Ernesto, son Mateo and kitty, Titi.
